The drive system of a battery-powered electric car comprises an electric motor, a high-voltage battery, power electronics and a charger. The vehicle is powered by the electric motor, which draws electricity from the high-voltage battery. This is charged externally and also via recuperation during the course of your journey. The range is so high that you won't have any problem with urban journeys, or venturing out into the wider surroundings.
